Product Development Manager, Mobile Media:
The product development manager will be responsible for the development of MTVN mobile applications and games from idea stage through launch. The primary responsibility of this position involves working within an award winning product development team, with other internal resources and external vendors to develop and produce industry leading wireless applications and games.

The candidate will work on a variety of iPhone, Android, RIM, J2ME, BREW and Flashlite products across all MTVN brands including MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, Spike, CMT, LOGO and Nickelodeon.

Responsibilities:

* Generate product concepts and ideas and develop into entertaining, usable mobile products through the generation of wireframes, functional specifications and prototypes
* Manage and coordinate internal resources and outside vendors to enable the timely and cost effective production of product deliverables; oversee bug reporting with operations, developers, content owners, QA vendors, and carriers.
* Drive the development of online components of mobile products including online components of mobile games and web storefronts
* Perform technical and platform due-diligence to identify vendors and technology solutions for all products.
* Create presentation materials to communicate products to both internal audiences and external customers.

Required Qualification/Skills:

* Requirements:
* Consumer focused online and/or mobile product development experience, including multimedia (audio/video/image) production management.
* Strong technical, creative and business acumen results and execution oriented, as well as creative thinker with the ability to quickly come up with concepts for new mobile applications and asses feasibility.
* Experience with client (BREW/J2ME/XHTML/Flashlite) and server application development as well as enabling mobile messaging & discovery technologies (SMS, WAP, etc.) required.
* Proven ability to deliver results in production oriented environments i.e. “not afraid to get your hands dirty" and do whatever is necessary to get the job done.
* Excellent communication and relationship skills with all levels of executives, management, administrative staff; outstanding presentation & speaking skills using various media including presentation software.
* Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities, ability to troubleshoot and provide feedback, guidance and solutions for product development plans a must.
* Strong interest and knowledge of the wireless industry and/or entertainment industry (games, music, new media) required.
* Strong hands on computer skills - proficiency in MS Office, Visio, Photoshop, PowerPoint, video and audio editing software
* Bachelor degree.
