The MTVN Global Digital Media Games team is tasked with building and deploying centralized platform code to support a wide suite of Game related products federated across multiple domestic and international sites. The focus for the team is to drive revenue and understand engagement patterns. We are looking for a Product Manager to help orient the team to deliver products that can enable the delivery of robust Ad packages. Improving reporting integrations and code deployment systems will also need to be accomplished.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work with department VP to create and manage short and long term strategy for the platform
* Establish and maintain a rolling product roadmap with department VP
* Create and manage product backlog
* Conduct bi-weekly product council meetings with stakeholders from various brands
* Negotiate individual brand requests with platform-based objectives
* Establish a process for receiving and tracking new product requests
* Translate product requests into PRDs with wireframes and functional specs
* Work closely with onsite and off-shore technical resources to deliver new products and provide on-going support for existing product line
* Establish regular lines of communication with stakeholders at all brands.
* The position will require 70% product development and 30% project management


REQUIREMENTS

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* 4 years experience in a Product Manager, Product Developer or Interactive Architect role
* Minimum 2 years experience with casual gaming products
* Full Product Development life-cycle experience, including PRD creation and management. (Documentation of wireframes and functional spec may be requested.)
* Proficient with Adobe Flash technologies
* Exposure to various Ad systems and an understanding of delivery process. Specific experience with DoubleClick, Panache and YuMe is a plus.
* Experience with web-analytic systems, preferably Omniture
* Exposure to Agile development methodologies
* Experience managing vendors
* Experience with video products and technologies is preferred but not required.
